On the south east side of the island of Mykonos, overlooking the beautiful sweeping bay of Kalo Livadi, you will find the very lovely Seaside Studios – which turned out to be a quite a find!
The well designed, characterful & comfortable studios sit side by side with one long, wide communal deck running the whole length with views over one of the best beaches on the island. Day or night, with spectacular sunsets, it was great to have our own space to sit out, eat or drink at our leisure!
The beach theme decor, your own private outdoor space before the expansive shared deck, the cacti & blossoms, the tranquility (we were there in May), the views and the super friendly staff made for a very special stay!
There are lots of cleverly designed, comfy and stylish shaded areas too that were more than welcome during the afternoon heat if you didn’t want to be inside but wanting to keep cool!
It is very easy to justΒ stay put at the studios – you can get a lift to the supermarket from the wonderful owner Antonis to stock up on a few things as each studio has a kitchenette, fridge, etc! But you will need a car if you want to see more of the island and/or visit Mykonos town. All can be arranged by the studios for a hire car to be dropped off Β and there is plenty of free parking right on site too – couldn’t be easier!
And a special mention has to go to Solymar which is an incredible restaurant and bar just a stone’s throw down from the studios, right on the beach! Contemporary, perfectly designed, incredibly professional staff which did all mean that it was a little pricey – but everything was top notch so worth every penny!
And the sunset views and relaxing music made for many a wonderful evening without having to drive and fight through the crowds of the town – all in all this spot, the studios and beach were heaven!
